Learning Enhancement Assistant – Junior School
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Enhancement Assistant to join our College community on a part time, fixed term basis for the 2025 school year.
The position requires a person to work with classroom teachers across Prep to Year 4, assisting students, generally in the classroom, to enhance their learning.
The role will involve working approximately 22 hours per week (FTE of 0.579) during term time only.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
- Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent.
- Outstanding presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a range of stakeholders including students, staff and parents
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded but not essential)
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check
