The Northern Territory Government has announced a $930 million education and training package in the Territory’s 2011 Budget.
The Budget includes a $246 million four-year Government initiative to upgrade all Territory primary and group schools with $7.2 million to be allocated to upgrade 24 specific schools.
The 2011 NT Budget has also announced a $19.4 million in upgrades to Special Education Infrastructure including;
- $11.9 million to upgrade and relocate Nemarluk School to Alawa
- $3 milllion for Taminmin College
- $2 million for Henbury School
- $1.5 million to continue works at Acacia Hill School
- $1 million for Palmerston Senior College
