About the team

Corporate Services teams at Metro are responsible for providing essential support services that enable the business to function efficiently and effectively. From Safety and People, Marketing and Communication to Finance and Legal, and IT. Our Corporate Services teams work collaboratively to ensure that the business operates smoothly and as one team.

We are currently seeking an experienced Learning and Leadership Manager to join the People and Safety team, responsible for leading a small team of Learning and Development professionals to implement and deliver corporate training programs across MTM.

Reporting to the Head of Learning and Education Services, you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and promotion of innovative learning programs that will strengthen capability and have a positive impact on building leadership and critical skills across the enterprise.

Key accountabilities:

  • Develop Strength and Capability frameworks and learning strategies
  • Review and consolidate learning products across the enterprise
  • Measure the impact of learning programs across enterprise to ensure they meet organisations key results
  • Ensure design and delivery of programs create positive organisational change.
  • Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee development of learning and education programs that adhere to legislation, regulations, policies, standards and procedures, to enhance continuous improvement

About You

  • Extensive knowledge of adult learning principles, teaching methodologies, curriculum development and evaluation processes
  • Experience in the design, development, and delivery of?L&OD?programs in both corporate and non-corporate environments
  • Experience in the development and integration of learning programs
  • Extensive experience in facilitating coaching and development discussions across senior levels of organisations including leading team and individual capability building
  • Demonstrable high level interpersonal engagement experience with the ability to positively interact with all MTM employees
  • HBDI and Hogans or similar qualified would be advantageous
