Teacher - Nursing and Sterilisation

 

Join our diverse team to deliver high-quality education and training to students undertaking our Diploma of Nursing.

Be involved in the design, development and facilitation of learning experiences, teaching theoretical and practical nursing content to ensure students gain the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to register as Enrolled Nurses with AHPRA and work in the healthcare industry providing safe, patient-centred care.

The position also includes assessing, providing feedback and supporting students' professional development in the nursing field. There is a requirement that the successful candidate work across multiple campuses, including Geelong City Campus, Werribee Campus and East Campus.

The workday expectation for preparation, teaching and assessment is between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Skills & attributes for success in this role

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or equivalent
  • Industry qualifications, specifically a Bachelor of Nursing to enable you to teach Diploma of Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registrations and industry employment
  • Current knowledge, relevant skills and industry experience

Employment opportunity

Part-Time 0.8 FTE (30.4 hours per week) contract to 31 December 2025

Salary

Teacher L1.2 (AQF4) $83,429 p.a. (pro rata)

Teacher L2.1 to L2.3 (AQF5) $85,169 to $93,961 p.a. (pro rata)

Teacher L3.1 to L3.4 (AQF6+) $99,983 to $111,391 p.a. (pro rata)

Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
