Soon to be established Torrens University has announced the appointment of Professor Fred McDougall as the Founding Vice Chancellor and President.

 

State Higher Education Minister, Tom Kenyon, said that Professor McDougall’s appointment is a major step towards the commencement of the university’s teaching and research work in 2014.

 

“Professor McDougall has wide local, national and international experience in the higher education sector having held a number of academic appointments in Australia and overseas, including the University of Melbourne, Macquarie University, the University of Adelaide and Flinders University,” Mr Kenyon said.
