Federal Government rolls out virtual red carpet for international students
The Federal Government is getting friendlier with foreign students, with the launch of a new online service to encourage more international learners to Australian shores.
International students looking to further their education in Australia can now look to the website, www.studyinaustralia.gov.au for valuable information and advice. The site was launched earlier this month and is now being heavily promoted in key international student markets including Indonesia, China, and India.
“Australia has a fantastic range of internationally-recognised institutions offering high quality courses,” Australia’s Ambassador to Indonesia Greg Moriarty told media there, “now Indonesian students can learn about them quickly and easily in a format that suits their lifestyle.”
As well as information on courses and universities, the site also provides details on scholarships and immigration issues. Potential students can also interact with the portal via social media.
