THE OPPORTUNITY

Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Part time, 0.5 EFT              
Location: Chadstone, Glen Waverley and Moorabbin campuses.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Appointment to 31 December 2024

Holmesglen's Learning Skills Centre provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment. The department is presently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to deliver effective language and literacy support to adult learners across various courses within the institute.

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning methodologies
  • Understanding of skills required to promote student autonomy and independent learning strategies.
  • Appropriate qualification relevant to language and literacy or delivery of English language programs
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • Relevant industry experience
